ACTIVITIES

IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE ITS MISSION AND OBJECTIVES, THE C.S.I.E. PERFORM THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: EDUCATION, RESEARCH, TRAINING, CONSULTING AND INFORMATION - PROMOTION.

1. Education program is designed to prepare specialists in European integration through initial, postgraduate and continuing formation.
2. Multidisciplinary research program, which estimates the impact of EU enlargement to East European countries, especially the Republic of Moldova, regarding the following domains: economy, trade, policies, security, science, information and innovation technologies, environment, development, democratic values, sociology and culture.
   C.S.I.E. elaborates projects and ensures dissemination and multiplication of the research results on national and regional scales.
   C.S.I.E. contributes to the exchange of information and elaboration of research projects in collaboration with foreign and local partners. Through the program of scientific research are required investigations regarding the process of deepening and enlargement of European integration and topics regarding regional development and cross-border cooperation.
   C.S.I.E. is combining resources and skills of teaching and scientific staff within AESM and independent experts.
3. Training program is dedicated to the teaching staff from secondary education, public administration officials, business sector specialists and managers, and to all those who are interested to acquire knowledge in European integration and European business practices. C.S.I.E. is providing specialized courses in the following domains: European Integration, Regional Development, Public Administration, Project Management, Environmental protection, Tourism. These programs will run in short courses modules, for continuing education, organized within AESM and territorial Centers of Regional Development Agencies from Moldova. The participants will be awarded with a certificate at the end of the courses.
4. The Consulting program is focusing on counseling economic agents and individuals in elaborating projects financed by EU funds. C.S.I.E. ensures counseling for educational structures in order to improve European dimension of the Republic of Moldova’s education.
5. Information – Promotion Program is designed for forming a rational and relevant opinion of citizens regarding current trends in European integration and the major importance of Republic of Moldova’s accession to EU. It also informs general public about financing opportunities of different projects offered by EU’s specialized institutions. It will result in some publishing activities as leaflets, brochures regarding European policies, institutions, events, organizing workshops with the participation of public, business and academic lives, publishing articles and press releases, participation to radio and TV shows. At the same time, there will be a C.S.I.E. library open for everyone, providing access to books, magazines and other documentary materials.
